Product name
AMD for horizontal vibration
model number
AMDV-50sl (Vibration mass 50 kg type)
AMD (Active Mass Damper) for horizontal vibration (building, wind etc.)
ACTIVE MASS DAMPER
This device is used to reduce horizontal (uniaxial) environmental vibration, such as wind vibration, in buildings. The attached acceleration sensor detects the horizontal vibration of the object, and by tuning the vibration mass to the vibration, the system absorbs and suppresses the horizontal vibration of the object. AMD for vertical vibration isthis way (direction close to the speaker or towards the speaker)
AMD for horizontal vibration
AMDV-50sl (Vibration mass 50 kg type)
It consists of a vibration mass, frame (body and base), electromagnetic brake, servomotor, acceleration sensor, and control panel.
Vibration of the vibration control target (floor, etc.) is monitored by acceleration sensors, control calculations are performed in real time to reduce the vibration, and the actuator drives the vibration mass.
The program is also tuned to match the characteristics of the measured floor and other items.
model number | Vibration mass [kg] | Actuator maximum control force [N] | Equipment size [mm] | Mass [kg] | Frequency range [Hz] |
AMDH-1000sb | 1000 | 7000 | 1845×1100×1160H | Approx. 1800 | 0.5~3.5 |
The main unit and control panel are separate.

Would you like to diagnose & improve that floor shaking problem with Yacmo's AMD?
The causes of floor sway and the basics of effective vibration control as a countermeasure are explained, and several examples of improvements made by AMD are presented.
Simple Selection Method for Wind Vibration Damping Devices (AMD, TMD)
Among the vibration control devices widely known as wind and microvibration countermeasures for habitability of building structures, this section explains how to determine simple specifications for passive-type TMDs and active-type AMDs.
[New Product] Compact size AMDs that can be used after the fact are introduced.
We will introduce our new compact-sized horizontal AMDs that can be used as post-construction measures for new products to address wind, traffic, and other vibration problems related to habitability that have occurred after the completion of construction of mid- and high-rise buildings.
